I · Ownership
Artwork remains the property of its rights holder.
All artwork, images, and creative works displayed on Kovett remain the property
of their respective owners, including the artists, galleries, collectors, or
rights holders who uploaded or authorized the content.
II · Permitted Use
No copying, downloading, or redistribution without permission.
By using Kovett, you agree that artwork and images on the platform may not be
copied, downloaded, scraped, reproduced, redistributed, modified, or used for
any purpose without the explicit permission of the rights holder.
III · AI & Machine Learning
Artwork on Kovett may not be used to train AI.
Images and artwork shared on Kovett may not be used to train, develop, improve,
or support artificial intelligence models, machine learning systems,
image-generation tools, datasets, or similar technologies. Automated scraping,
harvesting, or extraction of images or artwork from Kovett for AI-related
purposes is strictly prohibited.
IV · Your Collection Data
Your collection is private, with one narrow exception.
Personal collection details — price paid, acquisition date, location,
insurance and appraisal values, invoice references, and your own notes —
are private to you by default. No one else can see them, including staff, except
through a support or legal process.
The one exception: if a gallery or artist is the confirmed seller of a
piece in your collection — verified through Kovett's ownership-verification
process — they can see that piece's price and acquisition date, since they
were a party to that sale. They cannot see your notes, location, insurance value,
or appraisal value under any circumstance. A seller you name yourself, without a
completed verification, gets no access at all. Provenance verification shown to
other collectors or the public never includes price.
Your private collection is never indexed in search, and any aggregate statistics
we publish are computed with thresholds designed so no aggregate can be traced
back to an individual collector's data.
V · Your Data Rights
Export or delete your data at any time.
You can download a
complete copy of your data — profile, private collection, messages, and
activity — as a JSON file, whenever you want it.
You can also permanently
delete your account and private collection. Deletion has a 14-day grace period
so you can change your mind by logging back in and canceling. Some records, like
messages you've sent and provenance history, remain in the system with your
identity removed, so other participants keep an accurate record.
